This non-contact voltage detector can be used for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Equipped with a super-bright worklight, the 2201-20 is sensitive enough to indicate which side of an outlet is live. Rated at CAT III 600V, it has a range of 90 to 600 Volts. The 2201-20 was designed for Milwaukee's proprietary accessory mount rail system and mounts easily onto Milwaukee's DMM (2217) and Laser Temp-Gun (2266) to add voltage detection and a worklight to each tool. The 2201-20 is ideal for use by residential, commercial, and industrial electricians, as well as general contractors, plumbers, and service technicians. It quickly determines whether an electrical system or piece of equipment is hot or not, indicates which side (if any) of an outlet is live, and allows you to perform a fast safety check on any electrical device.
The visual voltage indicator--located right on the front of the tool--gives you easy-to-read results, and thanks to its 90-600 VAC voltage range and CAT 600V rating for safety, the 2201-20 delivers consistent, dependable performance.

Comfortable and easy to carry, the 2201-20 features rugged over-molding for durability and grip. It also mounts to the Milwaukee Digital Multimeter and Laser Temp-Gun, and features an on/off switch and a thermometer, and runs on an easy-to-replace 'AAA' battery (included).
The 2201-20 comes with a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty.
